Typical Conveyors Used in Pulp and Paper Handling
Steel Belt Conveyor
The most common type of conveyor used in elevating bales of waste paper or virgin pulp bales from floor level or from pit level into pulpers.
Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors (CDLR)
Great for handling heavy product with a smooth bottom or on pallets. Systems can be configured with curves, 90 degree transfers, and turntables. CDLR is also ideal for accumulating and releasing product in a controlled manner. Titan offers many models depending on product load and width. Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors are also available with Motor Driven Rollers.
Slat Conveyors
Typically used for very heavy loads and when the product needs to be fully supported on its conveying surface.
Multi Strand Chain Conveyor
Designed to move products that a standard roller can’t because of the conveying surface. It’s ideal for heavy duty unit loads and is best suited for unloading or transferring products with unusual characteristics, such as virgin or wastepaper bales. The minimal point of contact with the product is an advantage in pulp bale de-wiring.
Slider Bed
Available in all widths, speeds, and load capacities for broke handling both horizontally and on an incline.
Roller Bed Belt Conveyors
Available in all widths, speeds, and load capacities for broke handling both horizontally and on an incline.
